Should you have a HIV test?
If you are worried that you may have been exposed to the HIV infection, the chances are that you will want to bury your head in the sand. However with our rapid results test you can get your peace of mind back quickly and easily with a simple test.
If you may have been exposed to the virus then it is important to get tested as soon as possible. Indeed, if you think you may have been exposed to the virus within the last 72 hours then there is anti-HIV medication that may stop you becoming infected. Remember that people living with HIV may have no signs or symptoms at all.
If your exposure was more than 28 days ago then we can offer a test which gives you results in just three minutes. You can come alone or bring a friend for moral support if you wish.
However if your exposure was less that 4 weeks ago, it is good to get tested as soon as possible so treatment can be started quickly. The results take slightly longer to come back but treatment can be started sooner so it is much better for your health to be tested as soon as possible after your exposure.
