Our private health checks and health screening options offer the opportunity to discuss your concerns with one of our private doctors. Our doctors will discuss any medical concerns with you and can create a bespoke health check to address any worries you have. This means that we can act preventively and maintain your optimum health. They provide a perfect opportunity to discover any issues at an early stage, so they can be treated quickly and effectively.

 

Cancer Screening Services

Our private doctors based in Emsworth, Hampshire can help to screen for early signs of bowel cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer and ovarian cancer, amongst other conditions.

Outstanding follow up Care

After your examination there would be ample time to discuss the general findings with the doctor but also to specifically address any highlighted concerns or arrange further screening. Appointments are available in both our Hampshire and West Sussex clinics

If at any point in the process there is an abnormal finding speedy, appropriate action can be taken to reduce the potential for life threatening disease. This might take the form of lifestyle changes or medication) further investigation or treatment.

We are ideally placed to arrange ongoing referral to appropriate specialists if required. A written document with results, details of discussion and recommendations would be supplied for your records or to share with other health professionals.

  • Andropause - Male Menopause Profile tests

The Andropause can be responsible for symptoms in men of an age with problems of:
Low sex drive, difficulties getting erections or erections that are not as strong as usual, lack of energy, depression, irritability and mood swings, loss of strength or muscle mass, increased body fat, hot flashes

This profile checks: Testosterone, FSH, Free Androgen index, LH, SHBG, DHEA's

 

  • Cardiac Screening

    Cardiovascular disease is associated with the build-up of deposits within the arteries, thus blocking or reducing the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the heart. It can lead to various conditions including stroke, angina, heart attacks or heart failure as well as affecting other parts of the body. Early detection is vital in the management of this disease. This scan is 97% accurate and utilises the Aquilion 1 CT scanner which is one of the most advanced scanners in the world. This evidence-based screen highlights early cardiovascular disease through identifying raised calcium levels and early hardening of the arteries. Treatment and preventative actions can be taken to avoid this serious and potentially life-threatening disease progressing.  This scan is carried out at St Richards Hospital, Chichester.

  • Cardiovascular CT Screen

  • Cervical Cancer Screening

Cervical Smear which tests for Human Papilloma Virus and Cervical cancer cell abnormalities. 
The NHS cervical screening program prevents any smears between the screening process and we hope to be able to provide you with reassurance regarding your smear status without waiting years for the next test. This test can be done at any time but best results are obtained when avoiding menstruation.Results are available in 3-5 working days.

  • Comprehensive Health Check
We offer a full health check with a GP. A full current and past history check and appropriate physical examination will guide the need for further investigations or referrals.As we wish to be able to respond to your health needs and questions we allow time to discuss any concerns. Included in the Comprehensive health check are: Urine analysis, Anaemia Screen, Kidney Function, Liver Function, Uric Acid ( Gout test), Diabetes Test, Cholesterol Level, ECG ( heart trace only if appropriate after history), We can include specifically prostate testing, thyroid and faecal occult blood testing. 
 
  • Gluten Intolerance Check - Coeliac Screening

This consultation will involve a discusion with your doctor and examination if appropriate. You will be advised if any other conditions may need to be considered but included in the review is blood tests for : Endomysial IgA, Reticulin IgA, Gliadin IgA + lgG, Total IgA, Tissue Transglutaminase (IgA)

 

  • Male Potency Health check

If you are suffering with problems of erectile dysfunction or reduction in potency then this asesment could be for you. During the consultation we will discuss your personal situation and ensure that we cover all aspects why you may be suffering. The loss or reduction in potency can be alarming but often can be helped when we help discover the causes. A consultation including blood tests for: Prostate Specific Antigen, Testosterone, Free Testosterone, Prolactin, TSH, HbA1c, Glucose, Lipid Profile

 

  • Menopausal Check

Consultation and blood tests to find out more about the menopause and the hormones associated with this. Anything else can be discussed in the same consultation and further tests can be arranged if required.

  • Mole Clinic

We can assess you moles and advise if any furhter referral is requried or excision

  • Trace Elements Test

This test checks the following trace elements: Aluminium, Manganese, Iron, Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium, Copper, Cadmium, Mercury, Lead and Chromium
